In Texas folks are told that they need to have a gun
For fear that a bad guy might have one
They remind you to fear
For your kids and wife
And always be ready to take a life
Fearing for your life is not freedom

Some states want to abuse
A woman's right to choose
Appropriate reproductive healthcare
Keep your rosaries
Off their ovaries
It's nobdy's business anyway
Banning reproductive healthcare is not freedom

In the state of Floriday
You can't say gay
They've got a bad case of homophobia
They're coming for the trans kids too
They're scared of all the LGBTQ
They're legislating people away
Kids feeling bad about who they are is not freedom
